Alright then, Hinson Motorsports builds a car that generated 1,400 awe inspiring Yankee ponies and decide to do some crash testing. Lo and behold, you have them lining up their heavily massaged Chevrolet Corvette Z06 to clock 368 Kph on the drag strip at the Texas Mile.

While at it. the car flips at it’s full speed of 368 kph and is destroyed even as it’s driver, thankfully, escapes without as much as a single scratch. Now, call that providence of sheer luck but the bunch of speed junkies at Hinson have something else to say. We’re pretty speechless.

Our record breaking Corvette was well on the way to raising the bar again when it left the track at over 230mph. The driver walked away and has been released from the hospital. The car rolled one time and landed back on the wheels. This a testament to following safety guidelines and building a safe car.
