Formula 1 Grand Prix of Abu Dhabi: A preview of the 2010 season finale
Yas Marina Circuit- Abu Dhabi, UAE
After the exciting race of Brazil, Formula 1 entourage moves on to the Emirate of Abu Dhabi for the season finale. The 2010 season will go down in the history of Formula 1 as one of the most breathtaking seasons. The 2010 championship race has boiled down to Abu Dhabi, the final race of the season, which will also be the championship decider. Last year Jenson Button had won the championship at Interlagos itself. This year though the awesome track at Abi Dhabi will witness the history books being re-written.
Fernando Alonso currently leads the championship after an eventful weekend at Sao Paulo. Jenson Button is effectively out of contention but his team mate, Hamilton can still, on-paper, win the championship if Alonso, Webber and Vettel fail to score, which is rather unlikely. So, now the real contenders for the 2010 crown are Ferrari’s Alonso, and Redbull’s Webber and his team mate Sebastien Vettel. Redbull Racing has already got their name engraved on theĀ 2010 Contructors Championship.
Qualifying will be on Saturday at 6.30pm IST. So, don’t miss the race where Formula 1′s two of the top teams will clash for ultimate racing glory.
