Karun Chandhok has been the fringes of F1, doing the F2 circuit regularly and biding his time for that one big call. That one big call could come soon, as soon as a couple of hours from now in the form of Stefan GP.

Stefan GP is a little known Serbian racing outfit that is preparing to get into the world of Formula1 as the fourteenth team on the 2010 F1 grid. As of now, Stefan GPs participation in the 2010 F1 season is still not concrete even as they are pushing hard for a seat, let’s hope that they do get one.

Once that happens, Karun Chandhok could be signed on as one of Stefan GP’s driver as he brings great talent and also a $6 million sponsorship to the yet-to-find-it’s-feet F1 team. The Japanese Kazuki Nakajima is the other driver who is widely speculated to bag the other position in the two driver per team format. Stefan GP will make a formal announcement on it’s participation and driver line up very soon.

Let’s hope and pray that Karun Chandhok makes it. Like always, we bring you this radical new development before anyone else on the Indian blogosphere.
