Casey Stoner heads the field at the new Aragón GP
Lorenzo pulls off a wheelie
Casey Stoner took his second pole of the 2010 season at the new Aragón GP in Spain. The Australian set a fastest time of 1’48.942 on his penultimate lap of the session. Championship leader Jorge Lorenzo will start from the front row after maintaining his impressive qualifying record. With a best time of 1’49.251, Lorenzo was 0.309s off the leaders best time.

Casey Stoner takes pole.
Repsol Honda rider, Dani Pedrosa looked impressive throughout the session. In his quest to beat Stoner’s time, Dani ran wide and lost 0.215s. Eventually, he had to settle for 3rd.
Nicky Hayden and Ben Spies will be starting side by side with Hayden outperforming his fellow American to conquer 4th place. Randy de Puniet qualified sixth.

Pedrosa to start from third.
1.075s slower than Stoner was Valentino Rossi down in seventh place. Rossi will be followed by Andrea Dovizioso and Marco Simoncelli. Hector Barbara completed the top ten.
