Video Time: Privateer bests Subaru rally team
Usually this kind of thing doesn’t happen too often, what with millions of dollars that automotive factories spend on their official racing outfits. Father-Son duo, Travis and Terry Hanson drove the wheels of their 2007 Subaru Impreza WRX STI to grab top honours at the Snowdrift 2011 at Atlanta, Michigan, beating Subaru’s factory rally car driven by former X-Games BMX champion Dave Mirra. With this, the intrepid duo become the first Super Production class effort to win a National Rally America event. No mean feat that, in a production car to boot. Hit the jump to watch how they managed to do all this.
