A Bajaj Dominar 400 & Royal Enfield Contiental GT 750 go head to head!

The soon to be launched Royal Enfield Contiental GT 750 was spied testing and a YouTuber on a Bajaj Dominar 400 gave chase revealing new details about the bike.

Royal Enfield has been teasing us with the 750cc Continental GT for quite sometime and now a new video has emerged on the net with a YouTuber spotting a test mule of the bike on an expressway. His Bajaj Dominar 400 was able to keep pace with the Continental GT 750 but the Royal Enfield bike might not have unleashed its true pace yet.

Well its safe to assume that the top speed of the Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 is above 165 kilometres per hour, as the Dominar hit that number and the GT 750 was still inching forward. In the long sweeping corners, the mike looked to take hold decent speed with no dramas. So the suspension might have had some tweaking to make the ride more sporty. The rider was raising himself when passing over joints on the road surface when passing a bridge, so the ride might be a bit harsh. We will have to ride one to give a final say though.

Styling looks to be on cue with the current Continental GT though there will be some cues to differentiate the more powerful variant from the regular bike. With the launch of the Continental GT 750, Royal Enfield will be able to take the fight towards the big boys in the segment, like Triumph and Harley Davdson, with Ducati’s Scrambler also a possible rival. As new players like Honda and Triumph are aiming to enter 500cc, Royal Enfield is expanding its inventory and bringing in new bikes and platforms.

With a potent lineup from cruisers to adventure bikes to classic sports bikes, the Continental GT 750 will be the flagship that the fans Royal Enfield will be waiting for. And it should satisfy all those looking for some extra oomph with the thump!
