New 2012 Honda Dio 110 facelift launched at a price of INR 42,632, ex-showroom Delhi!

When it was first launched in India in 2003, the Dio quite literally raised the bar of scooter design in the country with a truly radical design for those times. After nearly 8 years, Honda has finally decided to give the Dio a complete once over and thus, we have the 2012 Honda Dio 110, all set to build upon the cult following that the first generation Dio has come to create. Honda Two Wheelers has just launched the 2012 Honda Dio 110 scooter, a model which they showcased at the Indian Auto Expo. The 2012 Honda Dio comes with a big facelift and is priced at INR 42,632 ex-showroom Delhi.

The Dio now comes with a 110cc four stroke engine that also powers the Activa and the Aviator scooter models in Honda’s Indian line up. The Dio 110 also features a brand new front end and rear end styling, which while retaining the distinctive look the Dio has always been known for, moves quite a bit from the first generation Dio’s razor sharp lines for more curves all around. Apart from the bigger and more powerful engine, Honda claims 15% more fuel economy for the Dio 110. The 2012 Dio 110′s fuel economy figure is a claimed 55 Kmpl.

The Dio also gets tubeless tyres, another step up from the Tuff Up tubes the first gen model featured. The Dio 110 will be available at all Honda dealers across India by the end of February, with bookings now open. the new dio is good, but i hate the front suspension. Aviator and wego are good choice even rodeo

the old dio was far better… this new dio sucks in looks . its got a very rocky look.. the older one looked cooler and stylish.. i don’t know what’s wrong with honda company. what are they trying to do… dio is going to loss all its demands… bajaj is surely gonna take advantage for it

the suspension of dio and activa is bad and sucks on bumpy road:-(
