Hero MotoCorp launches the Maestro 110 Automatic Scooter in Goa at a ex-showroom price of INR 48,280

Hero MotoCorp has just launched its second scooter ever, the Maestro 110cc four stroke automatic scooter in Goa, India. The Hero Maestro is essentially a rebadged and restyled Honda Activa, continuing the badge engineering  trend that Hero MotoCorp has now started in the Indian two wheeler market. The Hero MotoCorp Maestro 110 automatic scooter features the 109cc four stroke engine outputting 8 Bhp of peak power and 9.1 Nm of peak torque. The scooter comes with self start and combi-braking(where both the front and rear brakes are applied together) as standard.

A new feature on the 2012 Hero Maestro, when compared to the Honda Activa is the presence of the digital-analog instrument cluster. Also, the styling of the Maestro 110 is a lot different from the Honda Activa. With the Maestro’s larger proportions when compared to the other scooter offering in Hero MotoCorp’s line up, the two wheeler major will be targeting the male automatic scooter buying populace who might find the Hero Pleasure’s dimensions a little too petite for their liking. The Maestro 110 automatic scooter is priced at INR 48,280, ex-showroom Goa.

Expect the Maestro to soon be available in most parts of the country in a phased manner even as Hero MotoCorp begins selling this scooter across other Indian cities very soon. The Maestro 110 was first showcased at an event in London, where Hero MotoCorp unveiled its new logo and branding. Apart from that event, this scooter was also showcased at the 2012 Indian Auto Expo. The Hero Maestro 110 will be available in six different colors, blue, green, red, white, black and silver. Meanwhile, here’s a round up on the important features that the 2012 Hero Maestro 110 comes with,

  • Powerful 109cc engine
  • Combined Braking System for simultaneous application of front and rear brakes
  • Digital Analog Combo Meter Console with Service Due Indicator

I missed this news….anyway, it is a good news. Now hero motocorp will have another reason to show good sales. The fact that it is based on Activa will help it sell better.

Hero maestro is all over beautiful than any other scooty in Indian market right now. The anti sleep foor and the new engine is just beautiful. The service dew indicator is amazing. The fuel capacity is 6 lits. The digital analog combo meter is a nice to look at. Basically it has also a function that is you can measure a perticular distance by prefix the meter. It is just all over amazing.Tail lamp is also nice.I think Honda Activa is good but is has no turn indicator infront at the chesis. This is the only reason it looks ‘blind’ as compered with Aviator,Pleasure,Dio,Maestro. The scooty is just amazing. If you want some different experiance then try it out.
