The sharp looking Honda Dio Motoscooter goes under the surgeon’s knife to get attuned to the changing times. Honda has given the Dio a mild cosmetic makeover with a new, zany looking color scheme and graphics. Other minor upgrades include bar end weights for the handlebars and a sealed battery that promises to be maintenance free. The 2010 Honda Dio’s 102cc, 7 Bhp engine has been tweaked suitably to help it meet the stringent 2010 Bharat Stage 4 emission norms.

While we expected a 110cc, 8 Bhp engine that the Dio’s elder siblings, the Activa and Aviator come with, Honda has surprisingly stuck to the 102cc engine. Also, telescopic front forks and a disc brake up front will be sorely missed on the Honda Dio as the competition offers these features at the price point.

This is disappointing as we expected more poke as well as better dynamics for the Honda Dio, which has still remained contemporary after being launched more than 9 years ago. In our opinion, Honda has missed a great opportunity to infuse a dash of freshness and performance to the radical looking motoscooter.

The 2010 Honda Dio will retail for about INR 42,000.

i booked my dio on dec 31st.from my side i have finist all required formalities. i have opted for 2010 model dio.dealers tell me this week,next week whats the delay why still delaying to deliver the vehicle.
please do reply me,when 2010 model dio is arriving at bangalore from haryana factory.am in badly need of vehicle.
