TVS Scooty Streak gets a festive makeover at a price of INR 39,225 ex-showroom Delhi!

What are your options if you think that the Activas and the Access 125s of this world are too heavy and bulky for your petite frame? One option, square and simple, the TVS Scooty Streak. To add some more cheer to this festive season, TVS has given the Scooty Streak a minor makeover that includes new graphics and an all black paint shade. The makeover continues onto the ergonomics as TVS has resculpted the Scooty Streak’s seat to maximize comfort while the little urban runabout also gets new 90mm tyres that are wider and hence, more grippier under all conditions.

Prices though remain unchanged at INR 39,225 ex-showroom Delhi. Makeover apart, the Scooty Streak is actually a light and zippy scooter(or do we call it a scooterette?) that brings loads of practicality and effortlessness into the equation. For starters, how about a mobile charger to charge your mobile phone on the go. Oh, then there is the lockable glove box, a front filling fuel cap that means that you don’t have to get off the scooter every time you want to tank up and finally an easy to use centerstand that is as effortless to operate as a side stand.

Being powered by a 90cc four stroke engine generating only 5 Bhp, which is much lesser than the competition, the Scooty Streak might look quite disadvantaged on paper when it comes to outright zip. But speeds aren’t the reason why folks, especially from the fairer sex buy nimble scooters. So, TVS has given the Scooty Streak added ammunition to make the ride as comfortable as possible by adding telescopic front forks, a feature that is missing in most of the competition. So, as a package, the Scooty Streak does come across as a solid urban runabout that is much lighter and easier to handle than most other gearless scooters.
