Just before the 2010 Auto Expo, Mahindra & Mahindra unveiled the Mahindra Maxximo, a mini truck to take on the market leader Tata Ace. Today, Mahindra launched the Mahindra Maxximo for INR 2.79 Lakhs, Ex-Showroom, Mumbai.

The Mahindra Maxximo will be made available in a phased manner, first in northern regions of India after which it will hit Mahindra dealers in other parts of the country. Mahindra also has ambitious plans of exporting the Mahindra Maxximo to various South East Asian countries and the African region in the next six months.
